It is so important, especially for young girls, to see role models in male dominated professions. It has been proven that visibility works. See it to be it. I firmly believe in mentoring the next generation and not pulling the ladder up behind me. I’ve had a lot of setbacks on my journey to the flight deck but they’ve made me the person I am. I think it’s important to follow your intuition because that will guide you in the right direction. Just remember, there is no such thing as failure, you either win or you learn. Work hard, believe in yourself and never give up!
